A Cozy Christmas Home Tour | Part 2

Can you believe it is already December?? I am so excited, because not only is it Christmas,  but it is also both my and my daughter’s birthday month, and we are celebrating by heading to Disney this weekend! She was actually born on my birthday which is so special to me. I definitely enjoy it even more now! Everyone always asks if I hate having my birthday so close to Christmas, and my answer NO. I actually love it! December is such a joyful month, and I have always loved celebrating my birthday in the midst of all of the Christmas festivities.

Anyways, speaking of Christmas… where are you at in your Holiday decorating this year? Are you one of those people who decorates the day after thanksgiving (or even before), or do you slowly make your way through decorating throughout the month? Either way, if you are looking for inspiration or you just like looking at pretty Christmas decor pictures, you have come to the right place! I am back today with Part 2 of my Christmas Home Tour!

If you missed Part 1 you can find it HERE. In that post, I shared my main living areas including the living room, kitchen, and dining room which are all on the second story of our home. Today I am sharing our First floor which is made up of our den, entryway, and informal (off the garage) entry. I am really excited because I joined up with a few of my blogging besties for a mini blog hop, so be sure to check out each of their blogs linked up at the end of my post, as they will each be sharing different parts of their gorgeous Christmas homes as well.

Alright, enough talkie. Let’s get to it!

My Christmas Home is a mixture of many styles and elements that I love. It is a little bit modern, a little bit industrial farmhouse, and little bit traditional, and a lot cozy. I keep most of my furniture and main decor pieces neutral so that I can bring in the traditional pops of red that I love some much at Christmas time. It brings so much warmth and evokes wonderful holiday memories for me.

I brought in lots of fresh greenery, including the fresh cedar garland adorning my staircases. The simple elegance it gives is breathtaking, and I can’t get enough of the amazing smell it fills my entire home with! I love to DIY, and I have made a lot of my Christmas decor over the years, including the Silent Night pillows, stockings, tree skirt, Magnolia Wreath, and even the plaid red and green pillow covers which were converted from $4 placemats from Target! Sources for many of the other items in this post are linked below.

I truly believe that your Christmas decor should be made up of things that you love, that make you happy, that mean something to you and your family, and that evoke wonderful memories to bring the joy of the Holiday Season into your home.

Two more parts of my Christmas home tour are coming next week: A gorgeous Holiday tablescape, and a Christmas Master Bedroom reveal, so don’t forget to check back for those!
