Hey Friends! Happy Fall! The last few months of the year are always my favorite, so I get so excited when Fall finally rolls around. Fall signifies the beginning of the coziest, most joyful, wonderful time of the year. I love every bit of it! Today I have teamed up with a few of my super talented blogging besties (who happen to love this season as much as I do) to bring you a round-up of our Fall Home Tours. Be sure to click through at the end of this post to check out each of their beautiful blogs and see how they have cozied their homes up for the season.
I am currently pregnant with baby #2, and kid #1 is in the midst of the full-blown terrible twos. Needless to say I am desperately craving simplicity in all areas of life right now. My home is no exception. I have always enjoyed simplicity in my home decor, but I do tend to bulk things up slightly when the cooler months roll around. This year I really wanted to keep my Fall Home as minimal as possible while still being cozy and giving off those Fall feels we all love. Today I will be sharing Part 1 of my Fall Home Tour, including our entryway and den.
I worked mostly with what I already had in this space. I added my favorite Fall quote from Oscar Wilde to my letter board, and sprinkled a couple of the white and gold pumpkins I painted last year throughout the room.
Some faux, Fall colored branches were added into the arrangement I already had on our entry console. I love the way it looks with all of the white, gold, and green and adds just the perfect touch of the season to this space.
Across from the entryway, the den / my office space stayed basically the same. I usually just add in a cozy throw and change out the pillows as the cooler seasons approach. Usually I change out the art on that chalkboard as well, and I still might but to be honest it just hasn’t been all that high up there on my to-do list. I am actually kind of loving the clean, blank slate right now.
That “grateful, thankful, blessed” print from Jibe Prints stayed up year round this year, but I am especially loving it now that the season of giving thanks has rolled around again. It is such a beautiful reminder to see on a daily basis. Especially during this season of life that currently seems so challenging, I truly am so incredible grateful for all that we have been blessed with.
The last area I added a touch of Fall to in this space was our informal (off the garage) entry. A basket filled with birch branches, Fall foliage, and a faux white pumpkin do the trick to create another space in our Fall Home that is both simple and cozy.
I will be back next week to share Part 2 of my Fall Home tour, so be sure to check back then!
Also, be sure to head through and check out the Fall Homes of each of these incredibly talented friends of mine. They have so much cozy beauty waiting for you!
