“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers”  -Anne of Green Gables

It is finally magical October, and I am back today to bring you Part 2 of my Fall Home Tour. Once again, I have joined up with some incredible bloggers for a Joyful Fall Home Tour blog hop. I love doing these tours because it allows me to share not only my home with you, but also the beautiful homes of the women who inspire and encourage me on a daily basis.  After my tour, be sure to follow the links at the end of this post to get more Fall inspiration from each of these talented bloggers.

Last week I shared my entryway and den in Part 1 of my Fall Home Tour. Today I am so excited to share our Living and Dining Room for Part 2! I am extra excited about this one, because we have recently made some big furniture changes in this space. I just adore the way it looks all cozied up for Fall now. We spend most of our time at home in this room. I am so excited to finally have furniture that fits well in this space and fits our style as well. The simple, cozy Fall touches are the icing on the cake to truly make this space feel like home during this special season. Cozy on up with your favorite pumpkin flavored beverage and come on in!

As I mentioned in Part 1 of my Fall Home Tour, I have really been craving simplicity lately. My goal for my home this season was to keep it simple yet still cozy. I love the understated, rustic simplicity of our new dining table, and these black windsor chairs keep it classic and simple.

I kept the seasonal decor on the table super simple with my favorite macrame table runner, a vase of faux Fall foliage, a yummy candle and a blue velvet pumpkin.

This space now feels perfectly cozy for the season while still being modern, simple, and true to my style.

Now we continue through the great room into our main living area. I didn’t change a while lot this season, but I did add in some fur and cozy throws, a bit of Fall foliage, and some more copper accessories. I love the way the copper and warm wood tones warm up the space.

Our new sofa fits in here perfectly, and it really opens up our home. I am so happy we finally decided on one! (If you have been following my blog for any length of time you know how desperately ready I was to get rid of our old one. We could not be happier with this choice.) Besides, that gigantic chaise lounge is so comfy and perfect for this season of snuggling!

And just in case you were wondering where the heck the rest of my pumpkins are (because I mean really now, what is Fall without pumpkins??) don’t you worry! Our TV cabinet has become our own little in-home pumpkin patch. My toddler couldn’t be happier about it!

I love the way those beautiful colored pumpkins look with my favorite copper candlesticks.

Fall doesn’t have to mean oranges and browns and brightly colored pumpkins if that isn’t your thing. I stayed true to my own personal style and incorporated my normal color palette of black & white, neutrals, blue, warm woods, copper and gold to create a cozy, calming space for Fall that feels like home for my family.
