Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. As promised, I am back with the fourth and final portion of my Christmas Home tour today. (You can catch up here with Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.) I am so excited to share our Christmas master bedroom with you today! This is the first year I have decorated our bedroom for the holidays, and I am definitely hooked! I love the cozy, cheerful, festive feeling it brings to this space that we so love spending time in.
If you have been following along with my blog, you know how much I love decorating with neutrals, but you also know how much I adore a good dose of traditional red at Christmas time. Since I have kept our bedroom decor pretty neutral throughout the year, it was so easy to add in those pops and red for the holidays. I am absolutely in love with the way the deep red and holiday greenery pops against the bright white of our bedspread and the warm wood elements in this space.
Nothing says warm and cozy like a cute Christmas mug of peppermint hot cocoa, a fun holiday arrangement and a yummy candle. Bring me this tray in the morning and I might just stay in bed all day!
Also not helping on the whole “getting out of bed” front are these ridiculously cozy flannel sheets. They are my favorite ever and YOU GUYS! I honestly though Target made a mistake at checkout because these cozy little beauties are on sale for a song! They have tons of cute patterns too. I have linked them for you HERE.
I added lots of texture with pillows, cozy throws, baskets, and cotton to warm up this light and bright space. Our DIY Magnolia Wreath got moved into the dining room for the holidays, so I replaced it with my DIY Cotton Wreath above our bed. I love the simple, cozy feeling it lends to our Christmas master bedroom this winter.
A chunky basket filled with a few birch logs and faux greenery add a natural element to the space and brings the beauty of the outdoors in.
I kept our nightstands simple with just a few Christmas elements. These nightstands we made are pretty small and we like functional around here, so anything that takes up too much space is out.
Our little reading nook is one of my favorite corners of our Christmas master bedroom. I cozied it up by adding this softer-than-butter faux fur throw, this darling red ticking stripe pillow from Flat Creek Farmhouse on Etsy, a sweet Christmas printable I found on Pinterest years ago, and my DIY Christmas Coasters to rest that hot coffee mug on while I am curled up here with a good book.
Just a few small changes added so much warmth, coziness, and Christmas cheer to this space. I really adore our cozy Christmas Master Bedroom. We have been finding it increasingly difficult to get out of this soft comfy bed every morning, and in my eyes that is how you know you have successfully created a cozy space! ‘Tis the season for snuggling, and I welcome the long, cozy weekend mornings we have been spending all cuddled up in this space as a family.
That concludes the final portion of my Christmas Home Tour! I really loved decorating our home for the Holidays this year. I hope you have enjoyed following along and that you were able to gather inspiration for your own home as well. Stay tuned throughout the rest of the season, as I have some more holiday ideas, gift guides, and Christmas DIYs in store.
