Happy Wednesday! We had the most wonderful trip to Disneyland, but now we are home getting back into our routine and prepping for the Holidays! I am so excited to be back today to share with you my Christmas Tablescape! If you caught my Christmas Home Tour so far (click here for Part 1 and Part 2), you may have seen a little bit of my table already. However, I recently added to it to create the most beautifully simple, romantic, twinkly, Christmas dinner party setting and inspire your Holiday entertaining. This post is part of A Very Merry Tablescape Blog Hop with some very talented friends of mine. I have linked up to each of their posts below. Be sure to head over and check those out after you are done here!
This is probably my favorite tablescape I have created to date. I adore the elegant, romantic, twinkling holiday vibe, and the touch of sparkle picking up all of the candles and twinkle lights? Um, yes please!
As you scroll through, you might notice that I tend to use many of the same base pieces in my tablescapes. I have used the same dishes, runner, and these World Market Copper Candlesticks that I am obsessed with in my last few tablescapes. This is because I am somewhat of a minimalist and I don’t like to have a lot of “stuff”. I like to use what I have and love, and then I change up the entire look of the table with the place settings and centerpiece. You can see how I have created three completely different tablescapes using many of the same base pieces here, here, and in this Christmas Tablescape.
For this table setting, I decided to forgo the napkin ring and keep things simple by tying the napkin with some white and gold baker’s twine, tucking in a fresh pine clipping from our christmas tree trimmings, and topping it off with a copper glitter pinecone ornament. I love the uniquely beautiful touch these add, and the way they tie in with the copper candlesticks and pick up all of the dancing twinkling lights. Swoon!
For a simple centerpiece I ran a faux pine garland down the length of the runner between the candlesticks, tucked in some berries and fresh cedar clippings to give it that heavenly smell I love so much, and called it a day. I can’t get over this view and all of the pretty greenery in it. Can I just keep it all year please??
Nothing sets the Christmas mood quite like the magical glow of twinkling lights. So light some candles, turn on some twinkle lights, add in some sparkle, and watch it dance!
I have to use our wedding china every chance I get, because in my opinion it is way too pretty to sit in a cupboard. I love the crisp, clean white, and I think the beautiful carved pattern is perfect for the holidays.
You don’t have to spend a lot to create a beautiful Christmas tablescape this Holiday season. I used only what I already had on hand and therefore spent zero dollars putting this together. (Unless you count the super inexpensive copper pinecones ornaments my husband recently brought home from Target. He knows me so well! But anyways, since I just snagged a few off of the tree for this tablescape, I’m going to go ahead and call it free 😉 ) I am so excited to gather around this beautiful table and celebrate this joyful season with my family and friends.
If you were inspired by this simply romantic Christmas tablescape and would like to invest in any of these pieces to use again and again, all are fairly inexpensive and I have linked them (or similar) here:
